Prezzemolo e Vitale's new store, designed by Provenzano Architetti Associato, has opened in London. The Palermo-based chain has opened a new store in the historic Harding and Hobbs Warehouse. Located on the ground floor with direct street access, it is the largest of P&V's London stores. The project preserves the original coffered ceiling and reveals the slender steel columns dating from the building's construction. The interior is defined by a large, curving counter for the deli and prepared foods. A Liberty-style motif, as a tribute to the city of Palermo, was added as a decorative border around the perimeter. The entire fit-out was completed by Italian companies and craftspeople.
